Those swoon-worthy Missoni for Target zigzags! The florals from Lilly Pulitzer for Target! And who could forget the iconic Michael Graves for Target teakettle!?
They’re all back for Target’s 20th Anniversary Collection—and we have a first look for you right here on Target.com. Nearly 300 limited-edition guest favorites spanning apparel, home decor and kitchen essentials will be up for grabs when the collection drops in stores and on Target.com Sept. 14. And since each item is still affordable, ranging from $7 to $160, you’ll definitely want to have your wish list handy to help narrow down your choices (or not!) when the big day comes.
“Two decades ago, when we first set out to make beautifully designed products affordable, we created a movement in retail and culture that proclaimed that design could be—and should be—for all,” says Rick Gomez, executive vice president and chief marketing and digital officer, Target. “This Anniversary Collection takes our guests on a nostalgic journey through our designer collaboration history where they can discover products that they’ll fall in love with all over again, or for some, for the very first time. We’re so proud of this 20th Anniversary Collection and look forward to continuing to bring our guests more incredible, inspiring and affordable design they can’t find anywhere else.”
Whether you’re in the market for a Erin Fetherston for Target heart bag or Marimekko for Target beach towel, the 20th Anniversary Collection has something special for every guest. Check out a few highlights:
And while you pull together your wish list and make a game plan for the Sept. 14 launch, you can still take a trip down memory lane right now—check out the coffee-table book, “Target: 20 Years of Design for All: How Target Revolutionized Accessible Design.” (Available for pre-order right now.) Or take a look at our documentary film trailer and Collaborators film series for a closer look at featured designers from past partnerships—and Target’s approach to design for all over the past two decades.
The Anniversary Collection will be available at all Target stores and on Target.com beginning Saturday, Sept. 14, while supplies last. Designer collections and items will vary by store and purchases are limited to 5 identical items (same size and color). Guests can visit Target.com once the look book is available to plan their trip accordingly. Prices range from $7 to $160 and will be offered in sizes XS-3X for women, S-XXL for men, XS-XL for kids and 0-3M-5T for toddlers and babies.
