Michael Fiddelke is executive vice president and chief operating officer for Target and a member of its leadership team. He is responsible for the retailer’s nearly 2,000 stores, its global supply chain network, fulfillment services including same-day delivery with Shipt, network capacity planning, enterprise operations, properties and flight services. Michael is also Target’s chief financial officer.
Since joining Target in 2003 as an intern, Michael has held a variety of leadership positions across the organization, including finance, merchandising, human resources and operations. Prior to his appointment as chief financial officer, he served as senior vice president of operations, leading cross-functional enterprise initiatives spanning merchandising, supply chain, stores and guest experience.
In addition to his Target responsibilities, Michael serves on the board of Shipt and the Minnesota Children’s Museum. Prior to Target, Michael spent three years at Deloitte Consulting, LLP. He has an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from the University of Iowa.
