African American Business Council

The African American Business Council (AABC) employee resource group supports career development and creates awareness and advocacy to enrich our team’s inclusive culture. The AABC’s mission is to elevate the development of Black team members, foster moments of celebration and inspire joy.

Black History Month

Every February, Target celebrates Black History Month. We mark the month to reflect the sense of belonging we strive to create for our team members and guests. Throughout the month, our teams gather for special activities with the AABC. Target also spotlights Black-owned or -founded brands year-round in our stores and online.

Supplier diversity

Target is committed to supporting a diverse range of suppliers so our guests can find the products they want and need, helping our business thrive. These partnerships take several forms, including providing access to our resources and expertise; sourcing from diverse creators, designers, vendors, agencies, contractors and suppliers; and mentoring.
