Board of Directors & Management

Our Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the business and affairs of our company, which covers a wide range of activities. All of the members of our Board of Directors, other than Brian Cornell and Michael Fiddelke, are independent under the listing standards of the NYSE. In addition, none of the members of our Board of Directors, other than Brian Cornell and Michael Fiddelke, are current or former employees of Target. The Board of Directors is currently led by Brian Cornell, our excutive chair, and Christine A. Leahy, our lead independent director.

On Jan. 22, Target announced the election of two accomplished retail leaders to its Board of Directors. John R. Hoke, III, and Stephen B. Bratspies will join the Board on March 1 and April 1, respectively. Read more here.
