The pay range is $92,000.00 - $166,000.00

A role at Target Printing Services (TPS) means becoming part of a dynamic team that drives the strategy of internal partners such as Marketing and Store Operations through print and kitting projects.  The TPS team has a wide range of responsibilities including but not limited to planning, press, fulfillment and distribution, enabling us to positively impact guest and team member experiences while embodying Target’s core values.   

As the Senior Manager, Printing Services – Planning, you lead the end-to-end planning function for TPS, driving clear communication and strategic alignment across the entire print workflow. This role provides clarity, coordination, and connection across the TPS workflow—partnering with TPS Strategy, Pre-Press, Scheduling, Production and Shipping—while building strong alignment with our primary internal customer, the Retail Brand Experience team, to support effective planning and exceptional service. You lead a team of Account Managers, Project Managers, and Project Planners, fostering a collaborative, accountable, high-performing team environment. A core focus of this role is strengthening partnerships to support evolving business needs and partner strategies, ensuring TPS delivers work that advances enterprise value.

In this role, you oversee all internal and external job planning activities, determining production pathways and optimizing the balance between internal capabilities and external vendor resources. You are responsible for developing planning strategies that maximize capacity, efficiency, and value. Key responsibilities include maintaining broad visibility into all active work, driving clear communication across stakeholders, strengthening vendor performance, and ensuring alignment with Quality, Systems, Production, and Scheduling teams. You will lead performance analysis and continuous improvement efforts to elevate planning accuracy, operational flow, and overall productivity. Through strategic leadership, process refinement, and cross-functional partnership, you enable efficient operations and high-quality outcomes for every job.

This role is an on-site role at our Target Printing Services facility in Brooklyn Park, MN

About you:

4-Year degree in related field and/or 5+years of experience in a print environment

A proven track record for leading teams and managing performance

Self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively with others, as well as independently 

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment through multiple projects and details

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to make strategic decisions while weighing competing factors with urgency  

Prior Offset and Digital Print Planning experience is desired
