A holly-jolly day in Raleigh

Our team in Raleigh, North Carolina, hosted 55 kids and the Cary Police Department for an unforgettable day at Target picking out holiday gifts as part of our Heroes & Helpers program.

Helping Hands in Silver Spring

Target volunteers joined forces in Silver Spring, Maryland, to support families new to the community who could use a hand. Together, they built enough furniture to fully furnish 10 apartments.

Target sponsored the 7th annual Village of Promise One Table event in Huntsville, Alabama, serving Thanksgiving dinner to 1,500 people. Open to anyone in the community, the event is a welcoming space to connect with others and feel truly part of the community.

On Nov. 11, 2025, 100 Target team members joined NYC’s Bullseye Build day of service, completing hands-on renovations at Greenpoint YMCA and supporting its transitional housing program for families in need.

Rebuilding joy together at Chicago’s Irving Park YMCA 

Target’s property management team volunteered to design and refresh the YMCA’s children’s play hub  adding new floors, fresh paint, and a cozy space for families to connect and play.

Supporting sustainable brands

Family-owned North Dakota brand Three Farm Daughters, known for pasta made with just two ingredients, joined Target’s 2025 Takeoff program and launched in 116 California stores. It’s now available nationwide online.

Showcasing young talent in Atlanta

Target celebrated the 2025 winners of its annual HBCU mural competition, including Clark Atlanta University student Temitope Adeyemo, whose piece offered a unique tribute to Atlanta’s musical history in stores across the city.

Elevating Atlanta community centers

In October 2025, Target volunteers came together to revitalize the classrooms, pantries and shared spaces at one of Atlanta’s Salvation Army centers — building a safer, more welcoming environment for kids to learn and connect.

A new space for Southern Dallas

In partnership with the Child Poverty Action Lab, Target teams brought the Prosperity Park Project to life in Southern Dallas, turning a vacant lot into a playground where kids and families can gather and play.

Through the Target Circle community giving program and the dedication of its local team members, Target has helped Green Our Planet expand its mission in tangible ways. The company’s generosity will support curriculum development for more subjects, finance hydroponics programs, and help kids across the Las Vegas Valley experience the magic of growing and eating food they planted themselves.

Supporting those who serve in San Diego

During San Diego’s 2025 Blue Star Welcome Week, Target team members assisted military families through events like “Restock Your Pantry,” providing kitchen essentials to ease the relocation process for families new to the area.

Building homes in Colorado

Target volunteers joined Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity in Colorado to build affordable homes for local families. With 90% of Pikes Peak Habitat homes built by volunteers, Target team members joined in to help families in Colorado Springs achieve safe, affordable housing.

Target partnered with the Make a Smile Foundation to provide local students with school essentials and encouragement for a bright year ahead with school supplies and other resources needed for the classroom.

Flooding support in Texas

In the wake of historic flooding in Texas in summer 2025, Target team members provided critical support, personally delivering supplies and supporting families affected. Target donated $250,000 to efforts and team members mobilized to deliver meals and support to affected families.
