As a Senior Program Owner – Electric Vehicle Charging Strategy on our Energy & Sustainability Team, you’ll drive the continued strategic execution of Target’s Electric Vehicle Charging program. Reporting to the Director of Energy and Sustainability, this position will be responsible for growing Target’s EV charging strategy at an enterprise level. You will lead the cross-functional effort to continue the expansion of Target’s footprint in the deployment of EV chargers nationwide – with a tireless focus on maintaining the Target brand. You will collaborate with concurrent programs supporting new stores and remodels. In partnership with teams across the enterprise, you will work to drive Target Forward goals, while building guest loyalty and amenity. You are curious, comfortable with ambiguity, and interested in working in a rapidly developing industry while taking key partners along the way. Leveraging experience, data and results you will partner closely with enterprise business partners and leaders to drive business priorities and desired outcomes. This role will work closely with internal and external partners who collectively enable the current program and are pivotal partners to enable continued evolution. As member of the greater of the Energy & Sustainability team, you will also leverage and support energy infrastructure best practices to the team. Job duties may change due to business needs.
About you:
• Bachelor’s Degree, BA/BS (MBA preferred)
• Minimum 5 years business experience
• Proven ability to drive strategies through enterprise collaboration
• Cross-functional team leadership experience
• Experience with strategic project or program management
• Proven ability to design, communicate and execute Enter strategy
• Ability to manage projects, set timeliness and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical, financial, reasoning, and organizational skills
• Ability to negotiate in tough situations with both internal and external groups
• Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
• Ability to maximize relationships - team player/inspires others/takes partners across all levels of the organization and with outside vendors
• Ability to influence within peer group and assist with leadership presentations
This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
