The Enterprise Competitive Intelligence Product Portfolio Vision

We enable competitive intelligence (CI) across the enterprise by supporting not only pricing for competitively shopped items across Target stores and online, but also a wide range of CI-driven use cases. As a centralized platform for competitor data, we serve as a one-stop shop for enterprise teams, powering decisions across pricing, assortment, promotions, and strategy. We enhance the guest experience by delivering timely, accurate, and actionable insights through robust collection and utilization of competitor data.

This involves close collaboration with engineering, data science, analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences and enable effective decision-making.

Overall, this role owns a platform-oriented product scope, covering vendor ecosystem management, data ingestion infrastructure, and CI product experience, while enabling high-quality data delivery and business outcomes across the pricing and broader competitive intelligence portfolio.

  • Ability to define and implement data quality, validation, and monitoring frameworks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of ingested data
  • Experience building and managing data platforms or product ecosystems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance of data flows across systems
  • Strong experience in owning and driving product interfaces / platforms (Competitive intelligence UI or similar tools) that enable business teams to consume and act on data effectively
  • Focus on user experience, adoption, and usability to ensure high engagement with product solutions
