A role as a Category Optimization Manager - Produce & Floral means working with cross-functional teams to develop overall visual strategies and aid in their implementation. You will collaborate with broader teams to determine assortment, merchandising, fixture elements, store layouts and in-store behaviors. Through cross-functional collaboration, instinct, and creativity, you will be the expert on the guest, the market, and the competition.
As a Category Optimization Manager - Produce & Floral you will work directly with many facets of the business from HQ partners, vendors, and field teams. You will develop key partnerships, influence overall merchandising strategies, develop rollout plans for large scale initiatives and often work alongside store teams to coach, teach, and train behaviors. Your flexibility in reacting to business results and your ability to translate financial metrics and data into actionable strategies will be critical. You will interact with Buyers, Operations Managers, Planning, Fixture Teams, Store Design, Vendors, Project Managers, Initiative Directors, Pyramid Leadership, Field Directors, Store Team members, Third-party merchandisers, Category Managers, Real Estate, and other expert partners in support of merchandising execution.

About you:
• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of Merchandising experience
• Strong strategic and analytical skills
• Strong collaboration skills to partner with Cross Functional Teams
• Strong understanding of Produce and Floral merchandising
• Flexibility to travel and/or work occasional “off hours” in stores for resets
• Comfort with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Experience with POGs and Visual Adjacencies
• Excellent communication skills
