The pay range is $95,000.00 - $171,000.00

The Associate Creative Director, Editorial Content & Social leads the creative development and execution of editorial storytelling across Target’s digital and social channels. Partnering closely with editorial marketing leadership, this role translates strategy into compelling creative work across photoshoots, collaborations, reclaimed style storytelling, and socially native content.
This leader guides creative teams and production partners through concept development, shoot planning, and content creation—ensuring the work reflects Target’s brand voice and a high standard of creative excellence while resonating with culture and evolving social platforms.
The role plays a key part in delivering high-quality editorial content that drives discovery, collaboration storytelling, and brand affinity across digital experiences.
Lead the Creative Direction for Editorial Storytelling
Own the creative development of editorial storytelling across photoshoots, collaborations, and social content—shaping concepts, visual direction, and creative execution that bring Target’s brand voice to life across digital channels.
Direct Photoshoots and Content Production
Lead creative direction for editorial shoots and content capture, partnering with production teams, stylists, creators, and external collaborators to bring ideas to life.
Translate Strategy into Compelling Creative Work
Partner with editorial strategy leadership to turn high-level direction into clear creative concepts, storytelling frameworks, and engaging visual content.
Drive Collaboration and Partnership Storytelling
Develop and/or execute creative approaches for brand collaborations and partnerships, ensuring content captures cultural relevance while supporting broader marketing goals.
Champion Brand Expression Across Digital Channels
Ensure editorial content maintains a cohesive and recognizable creative point of view across digital and social platforms while adapting storytelling for platform-native engagement.
Mentor and Guide Creative Teams
Provide direction and feedback to art directors, designers, and writers while fostering strong collaboration and creative growth across the team.

About You
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
