As Senior Analyst Accounts Payables, you are primarily responsible for supporting multiple accounts payables projects that are focused on improving processes, technology, system, operations etc. In this role, you will not only play a critical role in driving key initiatives but also in ensuring the health of accounts payable process.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support Senior Manager accounts for payables by leading various projects across Accounts Payables, including potential cross-functional projects. Projects may include system transitions, improving vendor experience, influencing upstream fixes, and improving processes Prepare program dashboards summarizing the status and updates for all projects, including project timelines, potential outcomes, dependencies, risks, etc. Leverage data & analytics or collaborate with data analytics partners to identify potential gaps in systems, processes, or operations and recommend potential solutions to the business Collaborate with product, engineering, cross functional teams and process excellence team to drive key products, technology, and process changes that improve the overall efficiency of the Accounts Payables process Collaborate with Accounts Payables Analysts and leaders to drive process improvements, accuracy improvements & eliminate nonvalue added activities Provides extraordinary customer service to vendors by ensuring on-time payments and resolving disputes by collaborating with Merchants, Vendor Relations and Transportation.

REPORTING/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Reports to Senior Manager, Accounts Payables at Target in India.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Commerce Degree in Accounting & Finance
  • 8+ years’ experience and Accounts Payables expertise is mandatory.
  • Proven excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work with large sets of data & derive actionable insights
  • Experience collaborating effectively across functional areas
  • Advanced excel knowledge
  • Hands-on experience on SAP/Mainframe processing systems

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous project management experience
