About this opportunity
Help strengthen Target’s position as a strong retail tech brand and a mature GCC in India. Work towards championing Target as an organization which is diverse, inclusive and a capability leader delivering transformative retail solutions. As a Communications Business Partner, you will support the communication requirements of our tech pyramids (businesses), helping drive internal communication campaigns that help strengthen the team member experience and strengthen our culture of care, grow and win together. You will also be part of a team driving our external engagement strategy and execution. Maintaining a strong relationship with key Target tech stakeholders and business partners is an important area of focus.

As a Communications Business Partner, you will handle:

• Business Partnership – You will be a communication client lead for the tech pyramids and through strong partnerships with stakeholders and support teams, you will help deliver on their internal communication requirements in partnership with other communication team members.
• External Engagement – Partner with external stakeholders, including the media, industry associations and other third party organisations, to drive Target in India’s positioning externally through a sustained campaign.
• Project Management – be accountable for internal campaigns for the tech pyramids and external communication. As the communications lead for some internal projects, you will use your project management and organizational skills to create healthy engagement among team members, and track and measure their success.
• Content publishing– you will produce content for the tech pyramids for various internal requirements, including but not limited to award submissions, development of case studies, contributed articles, social media, etc

• Collaboration and Innovation – maintain strong inter-personal relationships with stakeholders, support teams and leadership across the enterprise. You will work towards bringing an innovative approach to all projects and campaigns, while keeping a focus on positive growth and bringing Target’s strategy and story to life.

Requirements

• 5-7 years’ experience in the communications field
• Bachelor's degree with a Master’s degree from a premier institute, preferably in Communications, Advertising or Public Relations
• Preferable experience with a GCC and/or in technology
• Passion for technology and its potential
• Relationships with and experience in media relations and partnering with industry associations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build a strong communication strategy towards enterprise-wide initiatives,
  that help team members connect with the Target brand in India
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong relationship with stakeholders
• Maintain confidentiality while working on key projects
• Manage multiple priorities independently while successfully delivering results within stipulated timelines
• Ability to work in and with a team
