As a part of the Marketing Analytics and Insights team, our analysts work closely with business owners as well as technology and data product teams staffed with product owners. They support Digital Marketing experience optimization with behavioral data and analytics patterns

Team Overview
As a Lead Data Analyst your responsibilities will be exploring data, technologies, and the application of mathematical techniques to derive business insights. Data analysts spend their time determining the best approach to gather, organize, analyze and present data. You will play a pivotal role in generating actionable insights and signals from our Guest Data Platform Products. Your primary responsibility will be to uncover patterns, connect the dots, and adopt a hypothesis-led agile approach to drive decision-making. You will support new initiatives by developing use cases, sizing opportunities, and estimating impacts, necessitating the creation of new data and metrics. Your curiosity and ability to synthesize guest-level insights will be crucial in shaping this evolving capability, which is still in the definition phase. This position offers ample opportunities for creative thinking and leadership.

Position Overview

  • Experience working on Retail domain specially on Customer data both PI & Sales data & Digital Platform or Social Media.

  • Ability to work independently on exploratory analytics, taking notes for clarity & guidance needed, then seeking answers from key stakeholders.

  • Ability to build standard, repeatable analytics objects (segments, metrics, views) and document their definitions.

  • Experience in identifying simple, high-impact, actionable takeaways from large datasets.

  • Possess analytical skills (SQL, Python, R, etc.) to find, manipulate, and present data in meaningful ways to clients.

About You

  • Four-year degree and equivalent experience

  • 6+ year as a Data Analyst with strong academic performance in a quantitative field; or strong equivalent experience [add any specific analyst experience needed here]

  • Advanced SQL experience writing complex queries

  • Accomplished with Python or R

  • Solid problem solving, analytical skills, data curiosity, data mining, Data creation and consolidation

  • Support conclusions with a clear, understandable story that leverages descriptive statistics, basic inferential statistics, and data visualizations

  • Willingness to ask questions about business objectives and the measurement needs for a project workstream, and be able to measure objectives & key results

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak to both business and technical teams, and translate ideas between them

  • Knowledge of AB Testing methods, time series, S&OP planning, Forecasting models including statistical analysis

  • Experience in analytics tools such as: SQL, Excel, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Python, R, Domo, Adobe Analytics (or Google Analytics) and/or equivalent technologies
