When are Target stores open?
- Thanksgiving: Target stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27. Guests can still shop 24/7 on Target.com and the Target app — including the Target Circle exclusive Deal of the Day — for pickup or delivery after the Thanksgiving holiday. Save even more with personalized offers and get 5% off everyday purchases with the Target Circle Card.
- Black Friday: Doors open at 6 a.m. local time on Black Friday, Nov. 28, and close at their regular time (check local store hours).
- Extended holiday hours: From Nov. 29 through Dec. 23, stores are open from 7 a.m. until midnight local time.
- Christmas Eve: On Christmas Eve, stores will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. local time.
- Christmas Day: Target stores will be closed Christmas Day, Dec. 25, but guests can still shop Target 24/7 on Target.com and the Target app for Drive Up or Order Pickup at the store or delivery after the holiday.

Our nearly 2,000 stores across the country put our inspiring in-person shopping experience within 10 miles of 75% of the U.S. population. This includes 18 new stores that opened in 2025 as part of our plan to build more than 300 new locations and enhance nearly our entire network in the next decade.

We’re making shopping easier too, with new tools like the AI-powered Target Gift Finder that can help you pick the perfect gift for anyone on your shopping list. Store Mode in the Target app automatically switches on when you enter the store and transforms your phone into a personalized shopping assistant that can help you navigate aisles, find deals and discover new favorites. For an extra dash of fun, take the “Find Bullseye” challenge — an in-store hunt for Target’s beloved mascot available through Store Mode in the Target app.
And to keep you organized, a new Shopping List Scanner feature in the Target app scans handwritten shopping lists and adds those items quickly to your cart. Simply select “My Shopping List” in the “Lists & Favorites” section of the app and start scanning.

- Get your orders within two hours or less through free Drive Up or Order Pickup, available at most of Target’s nearly 2,000 stores. And you can make your Target run even sweeter by adding a favorite Starbucks holiday drink to your order or returning items right from your car, even on Christmas Eve. Tap into the Target App via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to navigate easily to your Drive Up order without leaving the car.
- Have online orders delivered straight to your doorstep with same-day delivery for $9.99 per delivery or for free with a Target Circle 360 membership. You can also have gifts delivered right to your friends’ and family’s doorsteps, making it easy to spread holiday cheer from anywhere.
- Next-day delivery is also available for hundreds of thousands of items in more than 30 top U.S. metro areas. It’s free for orders over $35 or with no minimum order amount if you're a Target Circle 360 member or use your Target Circle card for purchases.
