Strategy and Enablement (S&E), within TES drives the delivery of world-class service by strengthening enterprise capabilities across product management, financial and data analytics, workforce management, quality programs and knowledge management. A role with the TES BI and Analytics team means being a part of the team that works closely with the business and identifies problems / opportunities for improved decision-making through better data analysis. This covers the whole gamut from building aggregated data capabilities, self-serve reporting solutions & actionable insights from simple descriptive analysis to more complex predictive and prescriptive analytics. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Data Analyst, you’ll be part of a team of analysts supporting TES -S&E , Procurement & Indirect BI & Analytics through active exploration of data & technologies enabling meaningful actionable business insights.

As a Data Analyst in BI & Analytics, you’ll take the lead as you:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of TES processes, products, and data
  • Determine the best approach to gather, manipulate, analyse, and present data
  • Develop & publish reporting, analytics, project & remediation support, research, and support of business initiatives
  • Apply insights and testing in partnership with business users
  • Improve overall efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving strategic work forward
  • Document calculations and code, adhering to data management principles
  • Validate and test data assets of others in the form of peer review
  • Continuously upskill to stay current with new technologies in the industry via formal training, peer training groups and self-directed education
  • Participate actively in team meetings

About you

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in IT or other analytic discipline, or equivalent experience (Computer Science/ Engineering)

  • 3-4 years of overall industry experience Strong problem solving and analytical skills . Ability to decipher ambiguous business problems & translate to analytical solutions.
  • Proficient with SQL & Python.
  • Exposure and extensive hands-on work with large data sets, with experience in navigating through complex data pipleines to build reliable aggregated datasets & reporting solutions from
  • Experience using reporting, visualizations, and analytical tools to build insights, communicate findings, and deliver actionable business solutions to stakeholders.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills – ability to translate and present complex data using clear, understandable reports and visualizations to business and technical audiences.
  • Experience working in the agile environment (stories, backlog refinement, etc.)
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency to be able to work both independently and in team settings in a fast-paced environment; capability to manage urgency timelines
  • Competent and curious to ask questions and learn to fill gaps, desire to teach and learn.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
  • Service orientated and strong relationship building skills, good in stakeholder management
  • Preferred : Familiarity with procurement or supply chain analytics.
  • Preferred : Basic to intermediate knowledge of using GenAI modules to assist with analytics solutions.
  • Preferred : Hands on experience in advanced statistical / analytical techniques like Regression, Time-series models, Classification Techniques, Pattern analysis etc
