Target does not sell information that is collected in connection with text message services to third parties for marketing purposes.
These terms and conditions apply to SMS text messages sent by Target. You consent to receive communications from Target on any mobile device that corresponds to the telephone number(s) you provided on your application or as part of the employment process. You agree to immediately notify Target if you change your telephone number(s).
Communications may be sent in order to process your application, provide updates, let you know about future job opportunities, or for employment-related purposes if you are offered employment with Target. You agree that such communications may be automated, autodialed or via other means as determined by Target and are not considered compensable time. Such communications are offered as a convenience to you and your consent is not required as a condition of your employment.
These messages can be recurring or one-time SMS text messages. Message frequency will vary.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” or a similar word in response to the text message you received. We may send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. You will no longer receive SMS messages from that short code or number, as applicable, but you may receive text messages if you are subscribed to other text lists. If you want to restart the text messages, you will need to provide your consent again.
If at any time you forget what keywords are supported, just text “HELP” to the text message you received. After you send the SMS message “HELP” to us, we will respond with instructions on how to use our service as well as how to unsubscribe.
Data obtained from you in connection with this text messaging service may include your mobile phone number, your carrier’s name, and the date, time and content of your messages and other information you provide to Target as part of this service. Target may use this information or share this information with our service providers to contact you and provide services you request from Target. Target may also use this information as described in the text message service you’ve enrolled in.
As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider. For questions about the services Target provides, contact us at 1-800-440-0680.
Target will not be liable for any delays in the receipt of any text messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
You authorize your wireless carrier to use or disclose information about your account and your wireless device, if available, to Target or its service provider solely to help them identify you or your wireless device and to prevent fraud.
