Get ready to snack a little differently this summer. Good & Gather Collabs is back with a new limited-time collection that’s all about bold flavor, fun discovery and easy ways to try something new.
This time, guests get a lineup of craveable snacks and sweet treats inspired by chef Roy Choi. A James Beard Award-winning chef and restaurateur, Roy is known for helping spark the modern food truck movement with Kogi BBQ and for his bold, flavor-driven take on Korean-American cuisine. Think familiar favorites like chips, popcorn and gummies, reimagined with unexpected flavor twists like Spicy Ramen, Miso and Chili Lime. It’s a fresh take on snacking that’s made for summer road trips, movie nights and everyday moments in between.
The Good & Gather Collabs + Roy Choi collection is available only at Target starting May 31, with all items under $6. It’s the latest example of Target leading with merchandising authority, bringing guests new, differentiated and culturally relevant products they’re looking for.
Inspired by Roy’s Korean-American heritage and the multicultural food scene of Los Angeles, this collection blends familiar snack items with globally influenced flavors. It’s designed to spark curiosity while still feeling easy to grab and enjoy.
Across the lineup, Roy brings standout favorites to the mix. On the savory side, Spicy Ramen Yuca Chips, Smoky Umami Fried Pork Rinds and Wassapi Ranch Popcorn deliver layered, unexpected flavor. For something sweet, treats like Spicy Chili Mango Gummies and Chili Lime Cake Pops add a playful kick, alongside the warm, comforting flavor of Cinnamon Dulce Cake Pops.
Like everything from Good & Gather, these items are made without synthetic colors, artificial flavors, artificial sweeteners, or high fructose corn syrup, and bring together great taste and value in one place.
We caught up with Roy to talk about the inspiration behind the collection, his approach to flavor and how to make the most of these snacks all summer long.
Why did you decide to team up with Target?
I’ve been coming to Target my whole life. It was always part of my routine, so this felt natural from the start. Target reaches real people in real life — families, communities, everyday moments — and that’s always been my approach to food. And honestly, from the first meeting, it just clicked. We were throwing out ideas, talking flavors and building the lineup right away. It felt like we were on the same page from day one. Now, to take flavors that are usually tied to where I’m from and make them available nationwide, that’s really special.
How did your background influence the snacks in this collection?
I wanted this to feel like how I cook and how I connect with people. My food is about flavor, but it’s also about community and having fun. Snacks felt like the right space for that. These are familiar items, but the flavors reflect where I come from and the mix of cultures that shaped me. This is about bringing people together and having a little fun. Even if it sounds new, once you taste it, it just works. I wanted something that feels exciting for people who know these flavors and approachable for those trying them for the first time.
Any fun ways to use these snacks beyond eating them straight from the bag?
You can mix them together, sweet and savory, crunchy and chewy. You can crush them up and use them in recipes for nachos or casseroles or just create your own snack mix. We designed the whole lineup so it can work together, and I can’t wait to see what people come up with!
What’s always in your Target cart?
I always pick up a clock from the home section. Every year I get a new one at Target. And usually some kind of snack or candy, especially from the seasonal section. I like finding something new every time.
The Good & Gather Collabs + Roy Choi collection will be available in nearly 1,800 Target stores starting May 31.
And there’s even more to explore this summer at Target, with more than 600 new snacks across the assortment, including trending options like protein-packed picks and better-for-you choices.
