Introducing Bullseye Gift Finder
Available now on Target.com and the Target app, Bullseye Gift Finder serves up personalized gift recommendations for kids based on your selected criteria — including age, hobbies, favorite brands and more.
How does it work? Say you select the fields for a 2- to 4-year-old, including options for baby and toddler, focused on toys for creative thinking and sensory development. The tool searches a selection of our toy assortment and recommends a lineup of ideas your giftee will love, from a Vtech Stroll and Discover Activity Walker to Melissa & Doug Ms. Rachel Wooden Learning Blocks and more. Check it out in the demo above. We launched the tool with a focus on toys, and are adding thousands of additional great gift ideas for kids throughout the season.

Another GenAI-powered tool to try this season? We’re experimenting with a new chat feature called Shopping Assistant. You’ll find it under “About this item” on the product display pages of select owned brand items when you’re logged into your Target.com account. It’s like a savvy shopping buddy, answering your questions and providing recommendations as you shop.
How does it work? Just type a question into the search field and Shopping Assistant does the work. Picking out a new outfit? Gather important info like: “Will this shirt shrink in the wash?” And when shopping beauty items, you can ask for details like, “Does this product contain artificial fragrance or dye?” Shopping Assistant gives you the answers in real time.
More GenAI-powered tools for easier shopping
Beyond the holidays, GenAI is playing important roles in creating even better experiences for our guests and team members all year. For example, over the summer we introduced Store Companion, a GenAI-powered chatbot designed by Target’s tech team that can quickly answer our store team members’ on-the-job process questions, coach new hires, support our store operations management and more.
We’re also using GenAI technology to make your digital shopping easier in other ways — including hundreds of thousands of enhancements to our product display pages on Target.com for easier searching, conveniently summarized product reviews and more. And we’ll continue testing dozens of additional applications this year and beyond to make working and shopping at the Bullseye even better.
