Hello summer! Whether you're thinking about warm-weather vacations, fun in the sun or holiday weekend get-togethers with family and friends, Target’s setting the scene for an all-around incredible shopping experience. We’re bringing you more than 1,000 new beach-inspired finds starting at $1 and with more than half under $15, and boosting your summery mood with an immersive, beachy feel in stores and online.

“At Target, we believe shopping should be relaxing and fun with plenty of personal touches that invite you to explore and make you smile,” says Cara Sylvester, Target’s executive vice president and chief guest experience officer. “Our summer beach theme carries through every detail of our experience to give guests a mini-vacation every time they shop. Hundreds of exclusive items, beach-themed destinations in store and online and personalized deals for Target Circle members are just a few of the ways we’ll help shoppers celebrate the summer season.”

Shop with a vacay state of mind

Summer’s one of our top three shopping seasons, and it’s one of our favorite times to surprise and delight our guests. Whether you’re shopping online or in stores, you’ll be immersed in an experience that will ignite your senses with bright, summery color schemes and beach-themed product destinations (think: ‘Swim & Sand’ for swimwear and beach essentials, ‘Soak Up The Sun’ for sunscreen and sun protection, ‘Picks Of Summer’ produce stands for fresh fruit and our ‘Snack Shack’ for classic summer bites). You’ll hear the sounds of summer — from beach waves to a playlist of breezy, upbeat summer songs. Food and beverage pop-ups will offer samples of Target-exclusive mocktails and appetizers, and on June 1, we’ll host events at hundreds of stores with personalized towel embroidery, beach bag giveaways, beauty carts with suncare samples and more summer fun. (Check Target.com/events starting May 25 for a list of participating stores.)

All you need for summer, all summer long

Target truly is your one-stop destination for all things summer, with everything you need to make the coming months shine.

“For millions of consumers, Target is a go-to for summer fun — with our market-leading swimwear collection, outdoor games and activities for the entire family, snacks and drinks for every occasion and so much more,” says Jill Sando, Target’s executive vice president and chief merchandising officer of apparel and accessories, home and hardlines. “Our summer assortment is about bringing together everything people love about summer at Target and making it even easier to shop, even more joyful and even more affordable.”

Whether hitting the beach or prepping to host a summer cookout, here’s a look at the best of the best from Target’s summer assortment:

  • In the swim. Target holds the No. 1 market share for women’s swim, and it’s no wonder: We have something for everyone, with our mix of top national brands and Target-exclusive brands like Shade & Shore and A New Day that nod to a coastal beach bungalow theme, with trending stripes and coordinated colors across swim, dresses, tote bags, hair accessories and cover-ups. Need a little swim-spiration? Our new, virtual Swim & Sand Shop (online and in the Target app) offers a “3-ways-to-wear” feature, so you can see how your favorite fashion influencers are styling the latest swimwear.
  • Fun in the sun. Our guest-favorite Target brand, Sun Squad, is designed for affordable outdoor family fun, from pool floats, inflatable pools and $1 pool noodles to bubbles, sidewalk chalk and hula hoops. Get inspired without stretching your wallet as you create summer memories with everything you need for a perfect summer day.

  • More newness for summer joy. And the summer newness and discovery continue with products from top national brands. We’re loving the whipped cream-style sunscreen from Vacation; bronzing drops to give your skin a sunny glow; mocktails from Free AF; new, only-at-Target Stanley Quenchers; and nailcare from Olive & June in fun summer colors.
