While we all love a good Target Run, we know that some days you just want to grab what you need and go. That’s why we introduced Drive Up in one market last October. The service lets guests place orders in the Target app, then have their items brought right out to their car by a store team member. We’ve already expanded the service to dozens of states, and now it’s available in California and Colorado—bringing us one step closer to offering Drive Up nationwide.
Our Drive Up service has quickly become one of Target’s most popular pickup options thanks to its speed and convenience, with everything from home essentials to clothing to electronics orders brought out to cars.
Here’s how it works:
- Select Drive Up as the fulfillment option when placing an order through the Target app
- Target will notify you when your order is ready—usually within one hour
- Hit the “I’m on the Way” button when you’re ready to head to the store
- Park your car in a designated Drive Up spot, and within two minutes a team member will bring the order right to you
What’s next for the time-saving service? We’re on track to offer Drive Up at nearly 1,000 stores by the holiday season. It’s all part of our effort to use stores to get online orders to guests faster, and make Target America’s easiest place to shop.
