It’s almost here! With more than 1 million football fans on their way to our hometown of Minneapolis for the big game in February, we knew we had to think big to give guests some extra special experiences. We already teamed up with local outdoor clothing company Askov Finlayson on a limited-edition collection celebrating the spirit of the North, and our in-house design team created the official volunteer uniforms for the game.
But that’s just the start. As the city prepares to kick off its Super Bowl LIVE celebration, a 10-day festival, free and open to the public with live concerts, national broadcasts, food and fun, we can’t wait to help play host to fans and families participating in the activities right in our own backyard, just steps from our headquarters and flagship store. Read on to learn about the fun happening across the city, and how we plan to add a bit of our own Target magic.
Visit the Bullseye Lodge
One experience you won’t want to miss: We’re transforming our Target Plaza Commons space into the Bullseye Lodge and opening it to the public for the first time Jan. 26 through Feb 4. Located across the street from our headquarters on Nicollet Mall and 10th Street, the space is decked out with a Minnesota-inspired north woods theme and filled with activities, snacks and fun. Check it out:

Inside, fans and families can take a photo on a snow swing, pick up complimentary hot chocolate, and have their photos digitally printed onto a marshmallow for a one-of-a-kind photo opp.
Visitors can get active playing jumbo bubble hockey or curling, and pose for more fun photos as they dive for a football. Or, show off your best touchdown dance for the camera and watch it projected onto the lights display at the top of our Target Plaza building for all the city to see!
Looking for a snack or drink? Check out the Mountain Dew Ice Lounge (complete with ice furniture), Mars Candy Shop, or sample new Doritos and Skittles flavors in the Fire Lounge. There’s also a fan shop stocked with products from our Askov Finlayson collab and other merchandise.
Everything you need and more at our local stores
Our local Target stores are busy gearing up to serve locals and tourists with plenty of fun and all the products and services they need. We’ll have big game products in every aisle, from all the snacks and drinks perfect for serving at your watch party, to more than 100 Super Bowl LII items for building your game-day outfit. There’s even an assortment of trade-able collector pins, including five Target-exclusives!
Look for our team members in special big game red shirts if you need a hand—they’ll also be equipped with new handheld devices to help you find whatever you need.
A Wellness Hub for the People’s Center
A big celebration like this is the perfect chance to do some good in our local community—it’s part of our DNA. As a partner of the Super Bowl Legacy Fund’s 52 Weeks of Giving Program, we provided a $300,000 capital grant, plus our team’s talent, to create a Wellness Hub at the People’s Center & Clinic in Minneapolis’ Cedar-Riverside neighborhood.
Members of our Target team donated their time and project management skills to help construct the space that will bridge clinical care and community wellness, helping local families learn how to incorporate exercise and healthy eating into their daily routine. The new space provides free access to workout classes, exercise equipment, cooking classes and more. It’s all part of our work to build thriving communities and help families care for themselves.
Can’t wait to take part in the fun? Stay tuned to A Bullseye View for more about how we’re celebrating the big game coming to town.
