Target to Temporarily Close Portland Store on North Hayden Island Drive

Target Corporation (NYSE: TGT) will temporarily close its Portland store on North Hayden Island Drive for extensive demolition and construction work. The store will temporarily close on June 9 and reopen in October 2012, bringing guests and team members a new, exceptional shopping experience. Target will relocate all eligible team members to other nearby Target stores while construction takes place.

“Target is excited to bring guests and team members a new, improved Portland store later this year,” said Bryan Everett, Target’s senior vice president of stores in the Northwest region. “Reinvesting in the store will allow us to better serve our guests and further enhance their shopping experience.”

Portland guests can visit the following Target locations, as well as Target.com, while the store is closed.
