The “America’s Got Talent” star offers exclusive new music to fans on the Target deluxe album
Target Corporation (NYSE: TGT) today announced its partnership with soprano singer, Jackie Evancho, for the exclusive, deluxe edition of her first full-length studio album, “Dream With Me.” The deluxe edition, which includes four additional new songs, is currently available for pre-order at Target.com, and will be at Target stores nationwide beginning June 14.
“We are so proud of Jackie’s accomplishments and know that by partnering with Target for the deluxe edition of her new album, even more people will be able to experience her music,” said Lisa and Michael Evancho, the singer’s parents.
The four additional selections chosen for the Target “Dream With Me” deluxe album, include: “Someday,” “Mi Mancherai,” “The Impossible Dream,” and “A Time For Us.” Described as a classical crossover album, “Dream With Me” also features a duet with the legendary Barbra Streisand for a breathtaking version of “Somewhere.” A ballad called, “A Mother’s Prayer,” pairs Evancho with singing sensation Susan Boyle of “Britain’s Got Talent” fame. The album is produced by sixteen-time GRAMMY® Award-winner David Foster.
“At the young age of 11, Jackie is an amazingly talented artist and we know Target’s guests will be excited about the arrival of ‘Dream With Me,’” said John Butcher vice president of Entertainment, Target. “Her youth and undeniable passion for singing enhances Jackie’s natural ability to captivate everyone who listens to her, and Target is happy to play a part in her music.”
Evancho first gained worldwide fame with a celebrated runner-up finish on the fifth season of “America’s Got Talent.” Evancho’s first release, “O Holy Night,” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Classical Chart, No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart and achieved Platinum status in a mere five weeks, making her the youngest female solo artist to debut in the Top 10 and the top-selling debut artist of 2010.
