Donations will help those in Joplin, Mo. and areas impacted by Mississippi River flooding
Target Corporation (NYSE: TGT) announced today it has donated $150,000 in cash and product to assist with tornado relief efforts in Joplin, Mo. and areas impacted by the Mississippi River flooding.
Target will give $95,000 directly to the American Red Cross to support relief efforts in Joplin and the Mississippi River area. The rest of the donation will be in product, including relief kits being delivered to the Target store in Joplin.

All Target stores in the affected areas are currently open, and Target has allocated additional products to these locations to ensure residents have access to the supplies they need to begin the rebuilding effort.
Teams from across Target spend countless hours preparing for disasters of any magnitude and will continue to help these and other communities in a time of crisis.
