Target Announces New Exclusive Music Partnership with Ricky Martin

The Latin music superstar to release a special deluxe version of his new album –– available only at Target
  
Target® today announced its exclusive partnership with GRAMMY® Award-winning, Latin music star Ricky Martin on his 12th album, Música + Alma + Sexo (Sony Music Latin).  The special album version of Música + Alma + Sexo will be available at Target stores nationwide and Target.com beginning Feb. 1. A digital download will also be available through ScatterTunes on Target.com.

With over 65 million records sold worldwide, Música + Alma + Sexo is Martin’s first new studio album in six years. The Target deluxe version of Martin’s new bilingual album will feature seven exclusive tracks, including two dance mixes, three unreleased songs and solo versions of Martin’s new hit single “Lo Mejor De Mi Vida Eres Tú” / “The Best Thing About Me Is You.”  “Lo Mejor De Mi Vida Eres Tú,” featuring Natalia Jimenez has already topped the Latin Pop Airplay Chart at No. 1, while “The Best Thing About Me Is You” with Joss Stone has just been serviced to English radio after generating more than two million YouTube views within two days of release . The album also features collaborations with famed Puerto Rican duo Wisin y Yandel and Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte.
 
Since releasing his first solo album in 1991, Martin has captivated audiences worldwide with his numerous hits including “Maria,” "La Copa de la Vida (The Cup of Life)” and “Livin’ La Vida Loca.” The global pop icon has been honored with a GRAMMY Award, three Latin GRAMMY Awards and, dozens of other international awards. In addition to his musical accolades, Martin has been recognized by several humanitarian organizations for his efforts, through the Ricky Martin Foundation, advocating on behalf of children around the world on issues of social justice, education and health. More recently, Martin released his memoir entitled “Me,” which debuted as a New York Times bestseller.
