To help Target guests beat the crowds on Black Friday, today Target is pleased to announce its pre-Thanksgiving 4-day sale, offering deep discounts on toys, electronics and more. And for those who love the Black Friday rush, Target will offer more doorbuster deals this year than ever before.

“Holiday shopping at Target is always fast, fun and festive, and this year, our guests will enjoy an exceptional experience with a wide assortment of gifts for everyone on their list,” said Kathee Tesija, executive vice president of Merchandising at Target. “There are tremendous deals across every department, and guests who use one of our REDcards at checkout will receive an additional 5 percent off our already great prices.”

Beat the Rush with Hot Holiday Savings
Beginning Sunday, Nov. 21, guests can find exclusive deals on more than 170 items including toys, electronics and movies during Target’s 4-Day Sale. Coupons will be available in Target’s Nov. 21 weekly ad to provide even greater value on holiday gifts, entertaining items and food.

Target.com Thanksgiving Day Sale—Enjoy Free Shipping Directly to Your Home
Target.com will also host an exclusive, 1-day online event on Thanksgiving Day offering online-only deals not available in the 2-Day Sale. Target.com is offering the largest free-shipping event ever. When guests spend $50 or more on Target.com from Nov. 21 to Dec. 11, they will receive free shipping directly to their home on more than 800,000 items.

More Doorbuster Deals
And for those guests wishing to shop after Thanksgiving, Target’s 2-Day Sale beginning Friday, Nov. 26, will offer guests 11 more doorbuster deals, for a grand total of 25 extraordinary bargains. In addition to the exciting doorbusters, Target’s 2-Day Sale will feature spectacular savings on apparel, electronics, entertainment, home, toys and more. For guests who spend $100 or more before 10 a.m. on Black Friday, Target will provide a $10 GiftCard for a future day of shopping. Guests can visit Target.com/2DaySale beginning Nov. 17 for more information about the 2-Day Sale and sign up for alerts.

Half-Off Toys
This year, the annual holiday toy catalog will feature 10 percent more toys than in previous years and guests will be delighted to find even more discounts featured this holiday season.  Online Oct. 31 and in homes Nov. 7, the catalog will give guests lots of great ways to save with 48 coupons, including 50 percent off top brands like Thomas & Friends, FurReal and Trio Building Systems by Fisher Price.  In addition, the catalog highlights toys that are exclusive to Target, including Nerf Clear-N-Strike Blasters, the Ultimate Disney Princess Collection and the Toy Story 3 Andy’s Toy Gift pack.

New this year in the storewide holiday catalog, a tear-out “kids” insert allows parents to give children their own catalog highlighting the things they care about most.  Also, guests can scan the catalog’s Quick Response codes with their smart phones and go directly online to further explore items of interest—just one more innovative way Target is inspiring the Holidays.

We Make it Easy
Two days before Black Friday, store maps will be available for guests to download to their mobile devices or print from Target.com to help better navigate the store and identify doorbusters. Target team members will also provide printed maps to guests waiting in line on Friday morning. Further, extra team members will be in stores directing traffic at the checklanes to help guests get their gifts and get home quickly.
“Target is committed to providing a convenient and safe shopping experience and we have worked hard to ensure our guests can get in and out of the store easily,” Tesija said.
