  • Connect application-level recovery planning to end-to-end business capability recovery, including objectives, dependencies, ownership, sequencing, playbooks, validation evidence, readiness, and residual risk.
  • Plan and operationalize tabletop exercises and other recovery-validation activities, translating findings into prioritized, owned work with target dates, validation methods, and completion evidence.
  • Establish practical governance and a shared view of known recovery and technical risks, actions, decisions, and escalation needs while keeping technical ownership with engineering teams.
  • Lead complex cross-functional programs through strategy, integrated planning, delivery, and measurable outcomes, managing dependencies, resources, tradeoffs, and risk.
  • Build trusted partnerships, remove roadblocks, create executive-ready reporting, and coach stakeholders to strengthen recovery planning, risk management, and execution.

  • Ability to translate technical risks, recovery dependencies, and business capability impacts into clear plans, decisions, executive communications, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong facilitation, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Ability to develop sufficient technical and operational depth to partner credibly with engineers and technical leaders and lead through ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Experience with capability-based recovery, dependency mapping, tabletop exercises, incident recovery, or technical risk management is preferred. Relevant PMP, Disaster Recovery, business continuity, change management, agile is also preferred.
