West South Central Region

Everything is bigger in this region — including Target's opportunity to grow. Our more than 200 stores across four states serve some of the country's largest and fastest-growing markets, with a significant presence across Texas. For our more than 36,000 team members, bringing the best of Target means keeping pace with growing communities while delivering the assortment, value and convenience guests expect.

In spring 2025, we opened Denton North — our second store in Denton, Texas — which serves students from two nearby colleges and busy families moving into the rapidly growing city. It is one of nine stores we opened in Texas since 2021, including six new locations in 2026 alone. Several new stores are also in the pipeline for the year ahead throughout the region.

Meanwhile, 20 stores are getting a refresh with Target’s latest, inspiring offer thanks to our remodel program rolling across the region.
