South Atlantic Region

The South Atlantic includes some of the country’s fastest-growing states, as more consumers continue to make the region home. Our more than 380 stores across eight states and the District of Columbia bring the best of Target closer to guests throughout the region. For our nearly 75,000 team members, that means delivering the combination of style, value and convenience guests expect from Target.

In 2025, we set the pace, with three new stores in Florida, one in South Carolina and a new store in South Riding, Virginia, each designed to delight its guests and support the specific needs of its communities. For 2026, we opened six stores in the region, including Lake Nona in Florida; Myrtle Grove, Selma and Fuquay-Varina in North Carolina; Seneca in South Carolina; and Norfolk Wards Corner in Virginia. Meanwhile, 30 remodels are under way, with nine in Florida alone — bringing the best of Target to our guests.
