This is home for Target. From our Minneapolis headquarters to communities across the heartland, the West North Central region is where our story began and where Target continues to grow. Our very first store opened in Roseville, Minnesota, in 1962 — and the region includes two of our newest, University City Olive Boulevard in Missouri and Brookings in South Dakota. 

Today, more than 170 stores across seven states bring the best of Target to guests throughout the region. For our 53,000-plus team members, that means carrying forward more than six decades of Target's commitment to serving our guests and communities.

  • Services include Drive Up, Order Pickup and same-day delivery with Target Circle 360, with next-day delivery available to all of St. Louis.  
  • The store also features an Apple at Target, CVS Pharmacy and Starbucks Café. 
  • Noteworthy: The store features a mural by local artist Jayvn Solomon that depicts University City’s key landmarks and music and cultural highlights.
