We love our twin hometowns of Minneapolis and St. Paul! Since our start as the Dayton Dry Goods Company in 1902, we believe in helping maintain thriving neighborhoods and a strong business community.
For more than 50 years, Target has been a staple of the downtown Minneapolis business community. Realizing the importance of a strong central business district, Target has grown into one of downtown’s largest employers and is a consistent supporter of its community.

In 2023 Target gave over $30 million in cash grants and product donations in the Twin Cities1, and team members volunteered more than 61,000 hours in the community.
