The pay range per hour is $20.82 - $37.45

A role within Corporate Security means protecting our Target community by managing physical security risks that have the potential to impact our team members, guests, and operations. Here, you may support our mission by generating intelligence & awareness, ensuring protective security, providing incident response, or guiding recovery & continuity procedures in the event of incidents or crises.

The Senior Specialist, Corporate Security & Safety is accountable for executing daily security operations that support a safe and secure environment at Target’s corporate locations. This role focuses on carrying out security routines, responding to incidents, and providing clear, accurate information to support effective decision-making. The Senior Specialist also supports team members, visitors, and on-site activities to help ensure safe and uninterrupted operations.

  • Execute daily security operations, including access control, monitoring, and patrol routines.
  • Respond to security and safety incidents and provide immediate on-site support.
  • Document incidents and activities, ensuring information is accurate, timely, and complete.
  • Communicate relevant information to team members and leaders to support awareness and response.
  • Support team members, visitors, and events to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Operate and monitor security systems, identifying and reporting issues as needed.
  • Additional job duties as required by evolving business needs.

  • Able to follow established routines and procedures consistently and accurately.
  • Maintains composure and sound judgment in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.
  • Communicates clearly and shares accurate information in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks or projects while staying organized and focused.
  • Interacts professionally with team members, visitors, and partners.
  • Comfortable using basic technology and security systems (e.g., access control, cameras, reporting tools).
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance.

Additional Requirements:

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and ability to complete routines and patrols utilizing a company vehicle.
  • Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position.
  • Able to work with highly confidential information and maintain discretion.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders as needed.
  • Ability to provide life-saving actions, including CPR and basic first aid.
  • Ability to sit, stand, or remain mobile for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to move or lift items up to 40 pounds.
