Target begins hiring for store teams across Ontario

Retailer now accepting applications for variety of store positions

Target® Corp. (NYSE: TGT) is pleased to announce that hiring for its first Canadian stores is officially underway. Throughout the fall, Target will be looking for talented Canadians to fill a variety of store positions at its first 24 stores across Ontario, scheduled to open in March/April 2013.

All Target locations will offer a range of opportunities from part-time employment to an exciting career in retail and each store will employ between 150-200 people. Target is already hiring for select store leadership positions and will now be focusing on mass hourly recruitment throughout the fall.

Specifically, Target will be hiring team members for a variety of in-store positions including sales floor, front end, assets protection, facilities management and human resources. Target has also begun seeking out pharmacy franchise owners to own and operate pharmacy businesses within as many stores in Canada as possible.
