Target and Kolohe “Brother” Andino are proud to announce their partnership today. Known for his technique, style and desire to push the limits of progressive surfing, the 15-year-old San Clemente, CA native is widely referred to as a surfing prodigy.
Kolohe had this to say, “I’m really excited to be working with Target. It’s a brand I support and I’m proud to be surfing with the bullseye on my board.”
Son of legendary surfer, Dino Andino, Kolohe became the first child of a National Scholastic Surfing Association (NSSA) Champion to also win the Open Men’s Title. Kolohe currently holds the most men’s NSSA titles and also carries the distinction of being the youngest Open Men’s Champion. He is a four-time Surfing America Champion and has won every age category title in American Amateur surfing, beginning with age 10 and up.
“We’re so happy to have Kolohe representing Target. It’s clear that he is a natural fit for our brand,” said Troy Michels, Target Lifestyle Marketing. “We can’t wait to see what’s next for Brother and look forward to supporting his progression for many years to come.”
Kolohe joins fellow surfer, Carissa Moore, in Target sponsorship, along with other top athletes Shaun White, Nate Adams, Mat Hoffman, Kevin Robinson, Simon Dumont and Ryan Dungey.
