To put a bow on such a meaningful collaboration, we chatted with Tabitha about her experience, what she’s learned and what’s coming next.
Q: We’re so excited for the launch of your new collection! What can our guests expect from your final installment in this limited-time-only partnership, and what was the inspiration behind it?
A: I’m from the country, and I’ve always loved getting together and enjoying time outdoors. This collection is all about backyard entertainment and bringing family and friends together. It’s inspired by summertime fun — gathering outside for a cookout, dancing, playing games, eating good food and enjoying each other’s company!
Q: What advice would you give to up-and-coming entrepreneurs who may be inspired by your success and want to take their dream to the next level?
A: Do it your way. It may seem easier to try and copy someone else’s blueprint, but you have to follow your own path. Always lean into what makes you different, and just do it your way!

Q: Sounds like you’ve really tapped into your own authentic experience for this collection. You’ve talked before about authenticity in your partnership with Target: What has that meant to you?
A: It’s a challenge to find a partner that likes you for the real you. But Target saw me from the very beginning. They never wanted to change anything about me. They wanted to uplift me and empower the authentic me. This partnership has been the best experience of my life. It’s been mind-blowing. And it’s shown me — now and forevermore — that I will always be myself.
Target has loved all my ideas — my fun, colorful patterns, my “busy” patterns (as my husband says) —they’d just say, “We love it, Tab, let's do it!” So, it’s been amazing to simply show up as me for each collection launch in this partnership.
Q: Can you describe the personal and professional impact that your partnership with Target has had on you?
A: So many doors have opened for me because of this partnership. Many people knew me before this collaboration — but many did not. Not everyone knew Tab! But Target allowed more people to get to know me; they introduced me to new people, and I introduced a lot of new people to Target. The positive impact was felt both ways, and I’m so grateful for that.
Q: What have been some of your biggest “wins” since partnering with Target?
A: The single biggest win has been for my fans (well, I call them my family) to be able to go into their community, shop my collections at Target, and then post what they bought all over the internet! Even though my fans are in different states, shopping at different stores, it felt like a shared experience, like we were all in it together. We all became a closer family. It’s been exciting to be able to give my fans a piece of me.
