Mark Weinstein is executive vice president and chief marketing and guest experience officer for Target and a member of its executive leadership team. In this role leading marketing, brand, loyalty, guest experience and digital — including the company’s retail media business, Roundel, and highly curated marketplace, Target Plus — he translates the company’s ambition to delight guests into experiences across channels and platforms that are personalized, connected and unmistakably Target.
Mark joined Target in 2026 bringing decades of experience in brand building, loyalty and personalization, guest experience and digital commerce. Most recently, he served as chief marketing officer at Hilton, as well as its head of luxury brands, overseeing brand and performance marketing for the company’s global portfolio of brands. He led the development of Hilton’s enduring brand platform “Hilton. For the Stay.” and transformed Hilton Honors into one of the world’s largest and most valuable travel loyalty programs. Prior to that, Mark was a consultant at MarketBridge and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
Mark has been recognized on both the Forbes World’s Most Influential CMOs and Forbes Entrepreneurial CMO 50 lists. He and his team’s work have been recognized by AdAge, ADWEEK, and Billboard among others.
He has a Bachelor of Science in marketing and finance from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.
