The pay range is $87,000.00 - $156,000.00

A role within Loyalty Product means a big opportunity to create capabilities and experiences that unlock new and exciting ways to engage with our guests. In this role you will lead and define product implementation specific to Loyalty Messaging that will help to fuel the continued growth of Target Circle. Target Circle is the Loyalty program that is focused on delivering easy and more personalized shopping and saving experience from start to finish. Since 2019, Target Circle has helped over 100 million Target Circle members save millions of dollars every year. As a Product Manager for Loyalty Real Time Messaging one of the main areas of focus will be expanding our ability to deliver the right message to the right guest at the right time. As a backend capability team, you will work closely with the front-end teams to power a best-in-class experience for our guests. This role will partner closely across guest data, digital, marketing and our front-end partners to create the strongest foundation in support of Loyalty.

As a Product Manager within Loyalty, you will collaborate with your product development team and key stakeholders to create a product plan w/ clear business objective (OKRs). You will need to build a strong knowledge of your product through discovery, and work to collect customer feedback and other relevant data points that explain the value and help you prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for your product. You will work in unison with engineers, UX designers, data scientists and business partners to deliver a product.

You will be the “voice of the product” with your product team and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met, and you will be responsible for maintaining and refining the product backlog (create user stories & acceptance criteria) while prioritizing the highest impact work for your team and stakeholders. You will encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints, as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization's direction. You will foster a sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles.

About you:

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of product management experience or equivalent experience within retail, loyalty or guest messaging landscape.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Understanding of roadmap planning, defining, and tracking success metrics, writing, and pitching business cases
  • Experience or understanding of technology and software development processes
  • Ability to facilitate communication of complex ideas to business and tech audiences.
  • Effective problem solver and ability to work in an ambiguous environment, Ability to articulate needs and solutions while balancing risks and tradeoffs
  • Contribute to strengthening of the team culture/morale through team ceremonies.
  • Creative thinker demonstrates curiosity, growth mindset and empathetic approach in probing to uncover customer needs.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional user experiences and a guest centric mindset

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
