The pay range is $68,800.00 - $123,800.00

As a Research & Analytics Analyst on the Performance & Insights team, you will leverage quantitative and qualitative research methods to unlock a deeper understanding of our business and our guests. This role will support our team in delivering innovative and actionable insights to internal partners and Roundel's advertisers through a variety of key deliverables including learning plans, case studies, surveys, and testing results. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Research & Analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in the execution of a primary research agenda that furthers key client relationships and drives incremental revenue
  • Support Senior Analysts with different methods of quantitative, qualitative, syndicated and first-party insight tools (Nielsen/Circana, A/B Testing, Surveys, User Testing, etc.)
  • Present results to internal stakeholders with a narrative and an action plan under guidance from domain experts across our team
  • Participate in cross-functional conversations to understand ongoing and ad-hoc needs of the business and to achieve desired outcomes for clients
  • Own the creation of Insights Playbooks that power Sales and Marketing efforts
  • Develop an understanding of Roundel’s offerings, measurement methodology, and reporting tools
  • Proactively identify new ideas for the team to innovate and elevate deliverables, in partnership with the Sr. Manager, including active participation in monthly brainstorming sessions

About you

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in digital media, consumer insights, or similar
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, project management, and communication skills
  • Experience with planning, development and analysis of primary research
  • Ability to synthesize and clearly communicate findings from data and research to focus on the critical issues and actionable opportunities
  • Skilled in data analysis and manipulation in Excel
  • Familiarity with third-party research tools (such as Circana or Nielsen) or DIY survey research platforms (Qualtrics or similar)

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
