The pay range is $92,000.00 - $166,000.00

A role in Engineering within Store Design means the opportunity to apply your innovative and sustainable design and technical expertise. Your work will directly impact the reliability, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness of Target’s physical operations
As a Lead Electrical Engineer at Target, you will serve as a technical expert responsible for the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems across Target’s Retail Stores and Global Supply Chain & Logistics Facilities. Your work will encompass a wide range of technical responsibilities that will involve full-scope electrical engineering that includes utility coordination, switchgear & generator strategy development, and renewable energy strategies. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert, ensuring that electrical designs meet performance, safety, and efficiency standards while aligning with the strategic goals of the business. You will collaborate with internal partners such as Store Design, Construction, Property Management, Finance, and Global Supply Chain & Logistic teams to align technical requirements with operational objectives. Your leadership will influence the design approach and execution strategies across a variety of complex projects.
In addition to your design and coordination responsibilities, you will stay at the forefront of emerging technologies and evolving industry standards, proactively integrating innovative solutions into Target’s engineering practices. You will play a vital role in advancing energy-efficient and scalable infrastructure that supports long-term business growth and enhances the guest and team member experience.

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
