Job Description: Sr Systems Analyst (Fiserv)

The Finance Capabilities Operations team is seeking a driven professional who will be responsible for Fiserv Testing support. This role is responsible for driving system functionality validation, process alignment, and continuous improvement across key operational platforms. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of business processes, analytical skills, and experience in leading user acceptance testing (UAT) and defect resolution cycles. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end validation of business processes within system changes, enhancements, and new implementations.
  • Collaborate with product managers, IT teams, and business stakeholders to define, document, and refine business and functional requirements.
  • Develop, manage, and execute test plans, test cases, and UAT scenarios in alignment with process requirements.
  • Identify, track, and coordinate resolution of system defects; ensure proper retesting and closure.
  • Maintain and update documentation including test scripts, process flows, knowledge articles, and SOPs.
  • Support operational readiness for system changes through documentation, training inputs, and stakeholder communication.
  • Provide regular test status updates and insights through dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Participate in requirement discovery sessions, design reviews, sprint ceremonies, and release planning activities.
  • Recommend process and system enhancements based on test outcomes, root cause analysis, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Maintain a centralized repository of test artifacts and system/process documentation.
  • Mentor junior analysts and testers, providing support and best practices.

Skills: Experience in/with

  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in systems or business analysis, preferably within operations
  • Strong experience with system testing, defect tracking, and UAT coordination.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
  • Solid understanding of business process modeling and workflow documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall development methodologies.
  • Preferable experience with Python, Automation, Selenium, TSYS and IVR Testing
