About the forum
Welcome from Kiera Fernandez, chief diversity & inclusion officer
For more than 15 years, Target has been on a journey to build and refine our diversity and inclusion strategy that drives our business and shapes our culture, and inclusivity is one of Target’s core values.
Target convened its first diversity, equity & inclusion forum, Growing the Circle: Championing a Diverse, Equitable & Inclusive Society, Together, on July 28, 2021. We hosted community partners, vendors and suppliers, diversity and inclusion partners, team members and more. This half-day session focused on Target’s four key priorities that define our diversity, equity and inclusion strategy: and inclusive guest experience, inclusive work environment, workforce diversity and societal impact.
We know that companies and organizations are on their own journeys, so we’ve made the content of the diversity, equity & inclusion forum available to share the knowledge and experience we’ve gained over the past 15+ years. We hope that these sessions will inspire you, challenge you and offer invaluable resources so we can all grow the circle together with shared accountability and responsibility.
