Justina, a warm welcome! What are you most excited about in your new role as a Target Home Style Expert?
I can’t wait to share how to create deeply personal, fun, and vibrant spaces on a budget because I truly believe in the democratization of design and that having a beautiful home increases the quality of life.
Why was Casaluna the perfect place to start?
I love Casaluna’s color palettes, emphasis on a great night’s sleep and the natural materials used in the collection—from cotton to hemp. That really speaks to me, not just as a designer but as a person who is always looking for ways to fuse the worlds of design and wellness.
Speaking of great brands, any other favorites at Target?
My favorite Target owned brand is Opalhouse! I love the fun, vibrant colors, the attention to detail and the use of natural materials woven into the line.
What’s always in your basket during a Target run?
Oh gosh—so many things! Somehow clothing for me and/or my daughter always ends up in my basket—workout clothing and comfy, jersey dresses are a few go-tos. But I always leave with candles, cool bowls and vases, throw pillows, body wash, hair accessories, dried florals—the list goes on. Let's just say that when I get home from a Target run I usually have to sneak my bags in through the back door when no one is looking.
