In these challenging times, the safety and health of our guests and team members remain Target’s top priority. While your Target Run may look different than in years past, we’re still here to help you get what you need, when you need it, as safely as possible. Here are a few things to know before your next Run:
Masks are now required
While nearly 90% of our stores already require guests to wear masks or face coverings due to local and state regulations, we’ll be expanding that requirement to include guests at all stores nationwide as of Aug. 1. For those without a mask, team members will provide disposable masks free-of-charge. Young children and those with underlying medical conditions will not be required to wear a mask.
Continued safety measures
You’ll continue to see our enhanced safety and cleaning procedures in stores, including masks and gloves for all team members in accordance with CDC guidelines, sanitizing of carts and baskets in between uses and plexiglass shields at every checkout lane. Social distancing reminders remain in place throughout our stores, and we’ll be adding additional signs and overhead audio messages, in addition to monitoring and metering guest access as needed to ensure appropriate distancing to protect guests and team members. As always, we’ll continue to review our procedures and make changes as required to ensure the safety of our guests and team members.
