Target Responds to Minnesota Tornados

Target today announced that it will donate $25,000 to support recovery efforts in several Minnesota communities recently damaged by tornados.
 
In addition to the company’s cash donation, the Target store in Austin, Minn. donated supplies, including 5,000 snack items to assist local relief workers during clean-up efforts.
 
At Target, helping our teams and communities prepare for and recover from disasters is a top priority. We have teams devoted at the Minneapolis headquarters, as well as at our stores and distribution centers, who work closely together to do whatever is necessary to help and coordinate response. That response includes a state-of-the-art Corporate Command Center, staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to help our field teams respond to and recover from disasters.
