Text messages 

As a part of the employment process, you consent to receive communications from Target on any mobile device that corresponds to the telephone number(s) you provided on your application. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent or received. Message frequency will vary. If you have any questions about your text or data plan please contact your wireless provider. Target is not responsible for any delays upon sending or receiving text messages. If you have questions, text HELP or contact Target Guest Relations at +1-800-440-0680. If you send a “HELP” message, we will respond with instructions on how to use our service as well as how to unsubscribe. 

Communications may be sent in order to process your application, provide updates, let you know about future job opportunities, or for employment-related purposes if you are offered employment with Target. You agree that such communications may be automated, autodialed or via other means as determined by Target and are not considered compensable time. Such communications are offered as a convenience to you and your consent is not required as a condition of your employment.   

We will send a text message to the number provided on your application to confirm your signup. You may withdraw your consent to text messages at any time by replying STOP or to other types of messages by following the instructions in the communication. After you text “STOP” to us, you will receive a text message to confirm that you are unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive text messages from the number. If you want to join again, text “START”. You agree to immediately notify Target if you change your telephone number(s). 

Supported carriers include major and minor US carriers. We are able to deliver messages to the following mobile phone carriers: 
 
Major carriers: AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, Alltel, Boost Mobile, Nextel, and Virgin Mobile.  

Minor carriers: Alaska Communications Systems (ACS), Appalachian Wireless (EKN), Bluegrass Cellular, Cellular One of East Central IL (ECIT), Cellular One of Northeast Pennsylvania, Cincinnati Bell Wireless, Cricket, Coral Wireless (Mobi PCS), COX, Cross, Element Mobile (Flat Wireless), Epic Touch (Elkhart Telephone), GCI, Golden State, Hawkeye (Chat Mobility), Hawkeye (NW Missouri), Illinois Valley Cellular, Inland Cellular, iWireless (Iowa Wireless), Keystone Wireless (Immix Wireless/PC Man), Mosaic (Consolidated or CTC Telecom), Nex-Tech Wireless, NTelos, Panhandle Communications, Pioneer, Plateau (Texas RSA 3 Ltd), Revol, RINA, Simmetry (TMP Corporation), Thumb Cellular, Union Wireless, United Wireless, Viaero Wireless, and West Central (WCC or 5 Star Wireless).
