Women Team Members & Guests

At Target, our business thrives when we create experiences that foster a sense of belonging for our team members, guests and communities. Belonging is at the core of our diversity, equity and inclusion strategy, which has helped our business grow for decades.

Women's Business Council

The Women’s Business Council (WBC) employee resource group aims to elevate women’s professional and personal potential. The WBC plans events and activities throughout the year to make connections, build partnerships and uplift one another.

Women's History Month

March is Women’s History Month, and Target honors the moment with events that help team members connect and celebrate together. In March and all year round, we make it easy for our guests to identify and support women-owned brands across Target.com and our app through a digital badge that designates products as “Women-Owned” by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). The digital badge indicates that the product has been certified by the WBENC as at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.

Supplier diversity

Target is committed to supporting a diverse range of suppliers so our guests can find the products they want and need, helping our business thrive. These partnerships take several forms, including providing access to our resources and expertise; sourcing from diverse creators, designers, vendors, agencies, contractors and suppliers; and mentoring.
