MINNEAPOLIS - February 4, 2011
Target® guests looking to upgrade their used, working iPhone 3G or 3GS can trade-in the device and receive up to a $200 credit for a new iPhone 4. The company today announced it will offer this special promotion through its Electronics Trade-In service at Target Mobile centers from February 6-12.

“Target is always looking for new ways to surprise our guests and offer the best prices on the products we know they want,” said Nik Nayar, vice president of Merchandising for Target. “iPhones are one of the hottest products on the market today, and our guests can now get their hands on one at a significantly reduced price.”

In order to take advantage of this limited-time offer, guests should visit a Target Mobile center, located in 846 Target stores nationwide, with a working iPhone 3G or 3GS and sign a two-year contract with AT&T. Guests may receive up to a $100 credit for an iPhone 3G 16GB and up to a $200 credit for an iPhone 3GS 32GB, offering great cost savings on a new iPhone 4 16GB priced at $199 or an iPhone 4 32GB priced at $299.

Target’s convenient in-store mobile shopping experience allows guests to purchase and activate mobile phones from four of the nation’s top carriers with expert support from the Target Mobile team. The Electronics Trade-In service is exclusively offered at Target Mobile locations and encourages guests to be eco-friendly by exchanging their old electronics or video games for store credit, which they can use toward other Target purchases. Products for trade-in include mobile devices and video games, as well as iPhones and iPods. Target Mobile centers are currently located in 846 Target stores nationwide, and will be available in 1,450 stores by June 2011.
