Target Introduces Interactive Shopping App for iPad

iPad App ScreenMINNEAPOLIS (November 16, 2010) — Target today announced its first app for iPad is available now on the App Store just in time for the holidays. Further enhancing the way its guests can search, browse and buy, the innovative app provides a rich and interactive shopping experience which takes full advantage of iPad's large, high-resolution screen and Multi Touch interface.

With the Target App for iPad, guests can:
  • build, share and update a shopping list
  • flip through the pages of the Weekly Ad, Holiday 2010 Catalog and Holiday Toy Catalog
  • drag & drop products from the Weekly Ad and catalogs into a shopping list
  • search and browse Target.com products (i.e., view item details, read reviews, find item availability at a local Target store, buy from Target.com)
  • browse exclusive offers and seasonal content
  • stream Target-exclusive Holiday music
  • locate their nearest Target store and its hours and services
  • interact with Bullseye the Target dog bobblehead.
