Target is partnering with celebrated designer Zac Posen to create the next limited-edition collection for GO International®, an innovative program designed to provide affordable fashion created by world-renowned designers. Known for his streamlined feminine aesthetic that captures the essence of glamorous women, Zac Posen will launch an exclusive collection on Target.com/go and at most Target stores nationwide on April 25, 2010. The amazingly priced collection of women's apparel, including outerwear and swim, will be available through May 30, 2010.

A New York native, Zac Posen debuted with his ready-to-wear collection in February 2002, capturing the attention of key fashion editors and retailers and signaling the presence of a new force within international fashion. Throughout the last eight years, Zac Posen’s Tribeca atelier has grown from a single-room studio into a bustling coterie of a global luxury brand, presenting four designer collections per year, and his recently launched new Z Spoke collection. Zac Posen has received many awards and accolades, most notably the CFDA’s 2004 Swarovski/Perry Ellis Award for ready-to-wear.
The Zac Posen for Target collection celebrates new interpretation and fresh takes on some of the iconic pieces that have sculpted the Zac Posen brand. With a focus on dresses and strong prints, the collection includes Target’s first designer full-length gown, a tuxedo suit, a red suede jacket and bold metallic swimwear. Fashionistas will be ready for a night on the town in sleek silhouettes modernized by neon lipstick graffiti and flirty floral prints. Exposed zippers and large bows provide added excitement to the assortment, while chiffon ruffles and pleats bring it back to the eighties. Swimwear gets a retro touch with bandeau halter tops, while a paisley-printed silk scarf allows any woman to add a signature Zac Posen statement to her favorite ensemble. Rock tees, knitwear and summer dresses round out the collection.
Ranging in price from $16.99-$199.00, the line includes a variety of party-ready frocks and day-to-day wear in graffiti prints and bold colors.
