Mark Tritton is executive vice president and chief merchandising officer for Target and a member of its executive leadership team. His responsibilities include overseeing all of Target’s enterprise buying, sourcing, product design and development, visual merchandising and merchandising operations.
An accomplished retail veteran, Mark brings more than 30 years of experience managing end-to-end retail operations.
Before joining Target in 2016, Mark was executive vice president and president of Nordstrom Product Group, where he oversaw the merchandising, design, manufacturing, marketing and the omni-channel distribution of more than 50 private label brands across Nordstrom’s full-price and off-price retail portfolio. During his tenure with the company, he led his team to double its private label business, created distinct brand assets and helped establish Nordstrom as a global benchmark for retailers taking an integrated approach to stores and digital merchandising.
In addition, Mark was vice president of Global CasualGear Footwear & Apparel at Timberland and has held several leadership positions at Nike Corporation, where he helped build both brands and expand them across global regions and channels in product and retail functions.
Mark graduated from the University of Sydney.
